Instituto Psicopedagocio Ciudad Joven

The Instituto Psicopedagocio Ciudad Joven ‘San Juan de Dios’ is a specialist hospital which cares for children and teenagers affected by drug addiction, learning disabilities and mental health issues.

The hospital currently provides treatment for around 270 children and teenagers, and Friends of Bolivia helps by providing funds to cover the medical expenses of some of the patients.

Additional Project – Cardenal Maurer

The “Proyecto Social Cardenal Maurer” runs centres in Yotala, Yampareaez, Tarabuco and Icla in the rural Chuquisaca province of Sucre, where they provide milk formula, clothes and assistance for new mothers.
